The #BIOSFERA art installations portray the entirety of living beings able to create the ethical and moral conditions vital for the evolution of life, both our own and that of others. The installations, having been born from paintings that bear witness to the coming together of unique individualities, represent the acknowledgement of, and respect for humanity's (bio)diversity, a basis for a healthy co-existence and fair relationships.

The spheres are made up of slices of stories, facets of identities of which we can catch a glimpse of brilliance, but never the whole essence; like every existence, it is impossible to observe and understand it in its entirety. The air is the element that support the exhibits, a breath acting as wings to which we can entrust our thoughts that, thanks to the act of sharing, can transform from a lonely chrysalis into an extraordinary butterfly.

The installations are accompanied by a QR code through which it is possible to listen to the testimonials on which they are based: light breezes of identity. The project also hopes to raise awareness of the ever fleeting boundaries that run between the public and private spheres, as well as to the value and power of words.

The #BIOSFERA exhibits are an embodiment of the inner world at the mercy of the public; they are just as vulnerable as every personal story is from the moment that it is shared. It takes only one word to destroy it, but, if welcomed and supported by careful listening, it can move freely, becoming a journey into eternity.

As a symbol of belonging, it represents the desire to find one's own place on earth, a centre that can be reached by following the path that leads to becoming, both of the world and of oneself, like a star that is capable of guiding pilgrims during their long and dark nights, of whatever nature they may be.
