#OGGI1 (#TODAY1)

#OGGI1 belongs to the everyday life series. To symbolize the focus paid to the present, and the manner that enables the creation of a recognizable place in which one can manifest, act, intervene and be. Each gesture thus becomes a bridge, a passage from oneself to the world, where every single human being can meet the universe and give life to a dance of wonderment.

#OGGI Project: during the month of August, I launched an appeal to find 31 males and 31 females that could recount their day in the form of a voice message. #OGGI1 is the result of listening to the first 10 days of testimonies, the second 10 days #OGGI2 and the last 11 #OGGI3; each painting is acrylic on canvas measuring 120xh cm.150.

#quotidianità - Everyday life concept: everyday life, the daily lived is the place where one resides, where the uniqueness of each individual can be made manifest and built across encounters and relationships. Both with oneself, with others and the world, all immersed in the density of time seemingly immobile in its continuous changing. By asking people to tell me about their day, I try to imprint this common ritual on canvas: a collective everyday life in which it is possible to glimpse the face of humanity's biography.
