Giada Bianchi first worked as an interior designer and subsequently as a journalist in the social network sector; both occupations allowed her to notice and observe the subtle relationships that exist between people in a given space, whether physical or virtual, and how it is increasingly difficult to convey oneself, even though we are immersed in the era of communication and contacts.

Following this, the need arose to create a place where each individual could manifest themselves, not for or despite others but in their presence, without fear of being judged. The chosen dimensions through which to operate were the off and online realities, where there was the possibility of expanding beyond circumstances and, not least, where art played the role of the field on which the understanding can be built.

After several attempts and a lot of experimentation, in 2015 Giada began the project #ritrattinarrativi based on personal experiences as a reflection of identity, giving rise to events disclosed on the web to generate a practical action of sharing: the calls to action. The audio tracks received were later transformed into pictorial sketches, and the final work of art became a symbol of meeting, acceptance, presence and hospitality.

Today, the paintings are accompanied by sound files with the stories that generated them so that the distinctiveness of the viewer can manifest itself while listening to them and, consequently, interact with the painting representing the event, thus freeing it from the physical dimension of the canvas to enter into that of relationships: a work of art in the work itself, constantly evolving and expanding through the meeting with other people's experience.

So far, approximately 600 testimonies have been collected.

Installation #BIOSFERA (biosphere)

The #BIOSFERA art installations stem from the need to widen our experience of the encounter. The development of the paintings leads to the creation of inflatable spheres that represent our inner world at the mercy of reality. The idea is to stimulate thinking about what might be the essential requirements needed for everyone's existence (both our own and that of others) to expand into the realm of acceptance and dignity, as well as to focus our attention on ever fleeting boundaries between the public and private spheres.

The installations are accompanied by a QR code through which it is possible to listen to the testimonials on which they are based: light breezes of identity.
